  Great place to live. I enjoyed my stay at Pooks Hill very much. The maintenance team is on point and management has always been extremely helpful. I would recommend to anyone looking for reasonably priced rentals in the Bethesda area!

  I have had the pleasure of residing at this location for over 20yrs. The price for the location was more than resonable, management cared about the tennants because the manager lived in the building.
  
  Now: The apartment is owned by Montgomery County's Housing Opportunities Commission, they have completly RUINED what used to be a lovely building.
  
  First they now charge you for water and elec
  The heat for the building used to be run by a boiler system. They have now removed it and put into place a cheap ac/heater unit in each room. FYI there is no insolation in the building so the heat leaves faster than it comes in. One of the elderly tennants had an elec bill of over $200 because of needing to keep the heater running because the rooms never stayed warm!
  
  The workers who are doing the renovations are themselves in disgust with the cheap work they have been employed to do.
  
  For anyone thinking of living here look else where, you will save money just on utilities alone.
  
  I have lived in older apartments in New York City that are nicer than this building has become after these horrific renovations.
