  I have used the services of the Old Georgetown Road Merchant’s Tire and Auto Center, in Bethesda, for over thirty years, and will continue to use them, as my confidence in the quality of their work continues to remains high to this day.
  
  Merchant’s has been my “go to” service choice for new tires, alignment, steering and drive train repairs, brake service and replacement, and oil changes. I have three vehicles, with numerous visits for service at this shop. My latest was an exhaust system replacement, including cat, sensor, resonator and muffler. I have never had a problem with their service or their cost.
  
  I will continue to use Merchant’s, and highly recommend the present managers and long time mechanics.

  Refused initially to sell my wife what she asked for: two tires to replace a flat. Insisted (contrary to Nissan service center inspection just a few weeks before) that all tires needed to be replaced. And then tried to insist that extended service/warranty was mandatory part of package. I had to be called from a meeting to deal with on phone and resolved--to simply purchase what we asked for and nothing more. Absolutely unethical and high-pressure sales. Avoid if possible.
